Land Stewardship

Our landscapes have been greatly altered from original conditions.  To maintain desirable land characteristics and land uses, it is imperative to manage our lands. Land Stewardship is an integral component that incorporates activities designed to conserve and enhance the natural balances of ecosystems.  Land stewardship incorporates progressive management approaches to reach desirable ecosystem goals through defined objectives.  Desirable ecosystem goals vary depending upon the type of terrain, vegetation cover, land use characteristics, and ownership intention.  Achieving ecosystem goals, often requires time and the strategic implementation of multiple activities that contribute to attaining desirable conditions.

Equilibrium specializes in the implantation of activities that promote natural balances of ecosystems.  We typically incorporate low impact practices that allow for the management of select species and desirable land use characteristics.  Our implemented activities contribute to accomplishing long-term ecosystem goals.
